The West losing its grip on technology

28th October 2025

Russia just tested their Burevestnik nuclear powered missile on the 21 October 2025. It flew about 14,000 km over 15 hours without refuellingand could probably have flown ten times as far and as long if it wanted to.

Trump’s response was that Putin should rather try to make peace in Ukraine instead of testing rockets.

I am more interested in how it will impact the world as we know/knew it.

Back in the days of SA Sucks, I had a hard time convincing one of our more leftist  groupies that “Peak Oil” was a myth. She was so fixated and brainwashed by the likes of Al Gore that she honestly believed the fear-mongering rubbish that oil was a zero sum and that we were going to run out of it.

She believed the crap they teach kids at school that millions of years ago dead plants and animals were covered by soil, and with weight, time and pressure it somehow magically tuned all of it into oil and some into coal and that is where oil comes from that we pump out of the earth today.

Simple mathematics will show you that we never had enough plants and animals in the history of the earth to have given us the amount of oil we have consumed in the last 150 years. Besides, oil wells in Texas that were pumped empty, empty, empty 100 years ago are full again today. Where is all of that oil coming from?

The truth is, of course, that although oil is a hydro carbon it does not have a biological origin. Researching the abiotic origin of crude oil will lead you to the fact that oil is a byproduct of volcanic reaction and we will NEVER run out of it.

But people are not supposed to know this, because then you cannot keep the price of oil artificially high…and that is the crux of the matter. Oil on earth is controlled by a monopoly (OPEC, led by the royal house of Saudi Arabia) who decide at will when and how much they will increase and decrease pumping of said oil. Small independent oil producers like Norway do not really feature.

That is the downside of capitalism...when it leads to monopoly capitalism.

But who needs oil in the first place when there are better engines available than the antiquated internal combustion engines?

“Where?”, you ask.

The cars, trucks, busses, trains, tractors, etc running on the Diesel and Otto cycles are presented to us as if there are no alternatives. Truth is, the principals of internal combustion engines running on hydrocarbon fuel have not really changed since 150 years. Sure you have electronic valve control and electronic injection control, but in the end it is still “suck-squeeze-bang-push”…like in the days of pioneers such as Dr Rudolf Diesel and Dr. Nick Otto.

The same can be said for gas turbines and jet engines running on the Joule cycle or Brayton cycle.

Little do people know, that they are being sold a lie…many lies, in fact. Electronic vehicles are not real alternatives and just distractions and there is no need to burn hydrocarbon fuels such as petrol, diesel or kerosene (paraffin) in our engines.

In 1957 Ford had a nuclear powered concept car called the "NUCLEON". A model of it is in the Technical Museum in Berlin, Germany.

Ford Nucleon.

I always wondered what would happen when people finally woke up and realised that plane tickets could be free. Shipping containers on ships and trains could be free. You could drive your car for 50 years and never refuel.

Molten-salt reactors, also known as Lithium-salt or Thorium-salt reactors, have been around for decades. The technology is not new. It has been out since the 1950’s, at least. I am talking about nuclear reactors so small that you can run a car on it or fly a plane with it. And they are perfectly safe and clean. Why is it that nobody ever heard of them until Putin fitted one to a loitering missile?

You’ve been had. You’ve been lied to.

As far back as 1901, when Nikola Tesla built his Wardenclyffe tower and wanted to give the world free energy, he realised that it was not enough to be super intelligent. The development of technology was dependent on those who controlled the money...by greedy investors such as J.P. Mogan and his son Jack who did not care one bit for the wellbeing of the people of the world, but who rather wanted a return on investment.

Tesla developed a death ray that he called a “defensive weapon” that would end all wars…no investors. They would rather invest in nuclear weapons. Tesla died a broken man. A poor man…knowing that those with money do not have the best interests of humanity in mind.

Developing technology needs money. Scientists, engineers, technicians need to be paid. Workshops and laboratories need money to set up and run. If there are no investors, the technology will not be developed. Simple as that.

However, things are changing. I am not saying that Putin has the best interest of humanity at heart, but he has shown humanity that they have been duped.

People will now start asking questions, because the West also had this technology in the 1950’s. They called it Project Pluto. It was abandoned around 1964 when I remember correctly.

In other words we could have had cars and trucks and airplanes running on perfectly safe and 100% clean nuclear energy for at least the last 50 years. Hell, we could have been on Mars and beyond already, but no…better to keep people dependent on a lie of “Fossil” fuels and enslaved for decades than to give the world free transport.

I see the Western propaganda machine is already kicking in making out as if Putin’s missiles will contaminate the environment with radioactivity, but as I mentioned, these molten-salt reactors are perfectly safe, have zero nuclear fallout and zero nuclear waste.

Be prepared for the future.
